Nomic is an AI agent platform for architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) firms that reads drawings, specifications, and project data to automate document review and research tasks. The platform grounds AI responses in source materials with citations to sheets, spec sections, model elements, or code clauses. Nomic offers two products: the Nomic Platform, a turnkey system with pre-built agents for workflows like drawing review, submittal review, code compliance checks, RFI response, and firm-wide search; and the Agent API, which provides domain-specific models for internal teams building custom solutions. The platform integrates with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Forma, Fieldwire, Bentley ProjectWise, SharePoint, Box, and other systems of record, respecting existing permissions and security models. Agents check drawing sets against QA/QC standards, cross-reference against 380+ building codes, parse IFC and BIM models without requiring Revit or Navisworks, and generate cited PDF markups.
