infoAbout Future Tools
Future Tools is a media platform and directory that curates AI news, tools, and expert commentary for professionals tracking the AI industry. Founded by creator Matt Wolfe, it combines a searchable database of thousands of hand-added AI tools with a daily news feed covering model releases, product launches, and company updates. The platform offers several distinct components: an AI news section with headlines updated throughout the day; a Top 20 AI Tools ranking based on visitor upvotes; a full directory browsable by category; and a twice-weekly newsletter reaching over 250,000 subscribers. The newsletter includes an AI Income Database with documented side-hustle strategies and tool recommendations. Content spans interviews with AI industry leaders (including executives from OpenAI, Microsoft, Google DeepMind, and Qualcomm), analysis articles, and video breakdowns from the associated YouTube channel. Future Tools operates as a free service supported by sponsors, with labeled sponsorships and affiliate links that do not affect rankings. The tool database is moderated by a human team rather than automated curation. The platform does not require payment for core access.
